Head of Teaching - Tim Lloyd

Tim Lloyd

Tim takes care of the methodology and syllabi for our courses. He develops the approach to the learning process for our students and monitors the effectiveness and quality of the teaching. He also teaches some of our prep courses (GMAT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL...).

• Since 2000 in the Czech Republic, Tim's been teaching English, preparing students of English as a foreign language for various ESL exams and for using English in business:
  • Cambridge certificates: CPE, CAE, FCE, PET, BEC (Preliminary, Vantage, Higher), ILEC
  • Other certificates: GMAT, SAT, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS

• During these 12 years he has worked for many Language Schools, such as Tutor, James Cook, Sentia and Slůně, svět jazyků, building the reputation and experience needed to guide both students and teachers through the exam preparation and build-up.
• Scored 690 in the GMAT exam in Prague for the purpose of preparing potential MBA and Master's Degree students for their own GMAT test.
  
• Completed TEFL Certificate with: ITTP international TEFL/TESOL certification.
• 1996 - 2000 Specialist Sales Manager at Atlantic Gas Plc (UK) , where he was responsible for the training and development of small teams of sales representatives.

Kate Stiles

Kate is our SAT expert, she takes care of the methodology and syllabi of our SAT prep courses. She also teaches GMAT, TOEFL and IELTS courses. She has over 8 years of English teaching experience.

Our Teachers

Sean

Sean has over 5 years teaching experience, working with students of various age levels and teaching a variety of disciplines and subject areas. He has taught the SAT, as well as prepared students for other standardized tests and entrance examinations. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, as well as post-graduated certifications in Education and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Ben

Benjamin has over 10 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language and preparing students for TOEFL, SAT and the Cambridge (FCE, CAE) exams. Additionally, he teaches students in a private or professional setting with a focus on business English and composition. He holds a bachelor and master degree in philosophy.

Sarah

Sarah has more than 10 years of English teaching experience in the Czech Republic. From 2000 - 2004 she taught post-secondary school classes (pomaturitní studium) at Akademie Komenskeho and Elvis Language School. She has been preparing students for English proficiency exams, but also working with individual students who are preparing for university entrance exams in the Czech Republic and abroad. Besides, Sarah works as a book editor and medical writer.
She is ready to prepare our students for SAT, GRE,TOEFL, IELTS, FCE and CAE.

Michal

Sejal

Sejal teaches the math portion of our GMAT Prep Courses

Sejal is a great Math teacher and is specialised in helping our clients achieve excellent scores in the Quantitative section of the GMAT. She completed her MA degree in Mathematics in India's University of Baroda, where she also prepared students for the MBA admission test. She has over 11 years of Math teaching experience.
